UCLA coach Rick Neuheisel could not resist taking on Lane Kiffin in his halftime comments at Pauley Pavilion.
``If you paid any kind of attention to what's going on in college football this week, you can see the landscape is slightly shifting. A few of our guys, we want to welcome Coach Kiffin to Los Angeles.
``We have competed with him before and we look forward to competing with him and his program again. Make no mistake we're not going to rest until we being back the Pac-10 championship, the Rose Bowl championship and a national championship.''
By the way this was said at a ceremony celebrating the EagleBank Bowl championship.

Tennessee is a totally different program compared to USC. UT had one of the worst qbs in the SEC, and in FUCLA-UT game, they were able to capitalize on that because of his 3 picks.

And now UCLA sucks in both football AND basketball - it's a great day in Los Angeles, with USC beating the barfy baby blue spineless hoopsters AGAIN on the hardwood! If I was a UCLA booster, I'd ask for my money back.

I believe the Unemployed "UCLA" Alum needs to go back to Gold's blog. For the true USC alums and fans, this is only an inkling of things to come. UCLA will get riled up and have their LA TIMES cronies stu in this loss and take cheap shots at USC & Mike Garrett. But look how the O'neil hire just worked out... I have no doubt Kiff and crew will undress Nuweasel and the teddy bears. They have copied everything from Cal to a tee, from the fight song to disappearing during big games. A storm is brewing and it will erupt on UCLA in the Rose Bowl in December. From always compete we will be changing our motto to Always Beat when it comes to UCLA.
This win will definitely help USC's seed in the Pac-10 & NCAA tournament. Ohh wait, you can't play in them.

Even in our down year and Emerald Bowl Championship looks exponentially better then your Eagle Bowl victory. But we only display Crystal footballs and Heisman trophies in Heritage Hall's foyer. But Unemployed UCLA Alums revered head football coach was giddy to show off his Eagle bank trophy during the USC rout. He understands UCLA's pinnacle is a 4th tier bowl, maybe your bruin friends in the unemployment lines can teach you to lower your expectations so your are not so bitter the rest of your PRODUCTIVE life.

I wonder if he watched what Trojans do in the NFL with Reggie Bush looking like his old self and the play by play guys fawning over him. I just wish they would have mentioned SC more often with Reggie, Big Sed, and Leinart getting some good run in that game.
