On Bates

Here's an interesting article on whether the Bears should hire Jeremy Bates. Here's one passage: ``In Los Angeles, Bates struck people as an enigma -- over-caffeinated and unapproachable.''

Next years offense will be really young and really fast. Guys coming in like Woods, Prater, Baxter are fast! Combined with Rojo and big runners like AB, Tyler and even McNeal could be a really high flying offense. Thats not even including Brice or Flournouy!

BUT with Bates the offense looks constipated. Not enough exploitation of speed. If he stays, the new excuse will be the offense is too inexperienced.

Bates year one = failure. Please leave Master Bates.
