Mike Ornstein is a sleeze bag. Ornstein was in just as deep as anyone else with Reggie Bush. Anyway with a past history in the NFL knows who Mike Ornstein is, and his reputation, or lack of and sleezy way of doing business. Personally, I saw Ornstein in San Diego for the Super Bowl. Talked to him, and then the next minute he was on the phone scalping tickects for over $4,000 per ticket. And all this was in the NFL headquarters hotel.

Pete Carroll, inspite of all his denials, most likely knew exactly the reputation of Ornstein, and every single time he was on campus. PC knew he was around and did nothing to get rid of him. And why didn't he do anything about it? Hmmm. Maybe he didn't want to do anything to get our guy REGGIE all bent out of shape.

Does that qualify as doing something illegal? No, but...

no bowls for a few years and lose 3-5 scholarships for a few years. Not huge, but enough to put a dent in the SC machine.

In any event, I hope things workouts for USC. I'm pretty excited about the Kiffin hire and think things on the field are going to pan out well. I just hope USC can make it through the impending storm. Everyone just needs to take a deep breath and relax.

I know I'm probably naive, but I bought Kiffin's explanation for why he left Tenn for SC after only one year. This was his dream job and he and his family are from Southern California. It was coming home. If I took a job in Tenn and someone came to me with a better job in Southern California I'd quit and move also.
