It will be interesting to see if defensive line coach Ed Orgeron can convince defensive tackle Calvin Smith of Hialeah, Fla., to come to USC. Smith committed to Tennessee but changed his mind when Lane Kiffin left. USC needs as much help as it can get on the front seven in this recruiting class.
Maybe ol' Calvin is holding out for the "Joe McKnight package", or possibly the "Dwayne Jarrett package", or the "Frostee Rucker get-out-of-jail free" package...oh wait! The NCAA's watching...Sorry Calvin, looks like Rocky Top for you!

Yes, Everson Griffin is gone, but that doesn't change the productivity the D-line got from Jurrell Casey, Nick Perry, etc. Really not sure D-Tackle is of high priority like maybe the linebacker spot is.
