The Rose Bowl averaged 15,071,000 households, an increase of 12 percent over last year's USC-Penn State broadcast (13,429,000 homes, based on a 11.7 rating).

That's cause for the first time in a long time there was a question as to who would win. Pac-10 teams bitch and whine about respect then get smacked in big games every time. No wonder most outside call it the Pac 1 and Little 9.
