Rose Bowl Reaction
Ohio State QB Terrelle Pryor on the importance of the victory for the Big Ten's reputation.
``We needed it, just for the Big Ten as a whole in general because I know we battled them all year long, but we're also playing for each other because it's a rep.
``We're playing for each other, and when schools like Penn State are playing in other Bowls. It's a reputation for us. It was huge for us to get over that hump and win this game, and we've just got to keep on winning.''

Jeremiah Masoli, 9 for 20 for 91 yards, kinda makes MB7 look like a QB. The Ducks laid an egg, maybe PK can get their bowl games in Autzen from now on. Quack, Quack.
As I always like to say, "sports win-lose illusion." If the Oregon 'Assault-and-batterer' back hangs on to the ball, Oregon probably scores a touchdown and takes a pretty good lead. It would have been interesting to see if Ohio State would have come back under those circumstances. That was the play of the game, one play. Take that away and I bet the Ducks win.
That said, it was good for SC that Oregon lost. Now the ol' Webfoots won't have that swagger when they come to the coli for their annual beatdown.
And I hope SC noticed how to defend Masoli. As one of the Buckeyes said after the game each man was responsible for 1/11 of the field and was instructed not to abandon his particular territory. This took away Masoli's usual running lanes. And the kid is not a real good passer, so the Bucks dared him to win with his arm.
To the Trojans, Happy New Year, and
to the bruins, Good Luck, you're gonna need it.
I'm a Trojan fan but glad the Pac 10 lost. I'm self-centered and only want USC to be the Big Dog in the conference -- we're the only Pac 10 team that wins the big games. Look at Arizona -- ugh! These teams are an embarrassment to the conference
It will be great to watch USC Trojans, i have bought tickets from
http://ticketfront.com/event/USC_Trojans-tickets looking forward to it.
