Sounds like Pete is doing it again for Rocky. Scott and others will turn this into a negative, but what a great opportunity for Seto. He gets to learn the NFL from the ground up and probably will be moving up the NFL ladder in no time.
So, yes, this is the NFL equivalent of Grad Ass't...
I guess the positions of customer-service coach and human-resources coach must have already been filled.
Rocky is a class guy. Good for him.
just so I understand, Pete is taking the same coaching staff that just went 9-4 despite having a million 5* kids to the NFL and expects to be successful? It just keeps getting better... Lame On!
What does a quality-control coach do?
What kind of job is Quality Control coach? sounds like PC is just finding ways to take care of his cronies and waste Paul Allen's money
spedjones;
in you most recent post, for the first time you have posited the quandary that unnerved most SC fans during last season. Which was; as you state, top talent, top coaching...'What in the Hell is going on with this Team?'
I have to admit that after the Crushing defeat by the Furd', came the question, was the fix in, did we throw the game!
I found this New York Times article on "NFL Quality Control Coaches".....

Your too slow Wolfy...looks like you need to transfer the reins of your blog to someone! hey Pete may have a job for you!
Guess I was RIGHT!
I'm very happy for Rocky Seto!
Ladies and gentlemen, the starting lineups for your USC Seahawks...
Quality Control Coach, pretty much does all the pre-prep work. Like while the team is practicing and getting ready for this sundays game, a quality control coach will be getting stuff ready for the next weeks game. So when the other coaches are done with the game, they already have a layout of what the plans are or possible plans for the next game, different teams call for different game plans and that is a huge part in the NFL to really know who your playing and having tapes and everything ready to go for you to get studying right away. All great teams have great Quality Control Coaches, and the Q.C.Coach has to have a great relationship with the head coach. Knowing what he will want and how he'll want it done, is a huge head start for the whole team. This is a great and understandable move.
