About Inside USC
Scott Wolf has covered USC for the Daily News since 1996. A USC
graduate, he covered his first Trojan game in 1984 for
the Daily Trojan. Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet
message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this
moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in
antagonizing the "Internet geeks."

Ironically, life is change, Scott.
i think that was a bad move though not as bad as leaving out chow. ruel did a good job (could have done better but needed more time).
The O-line should have done better considering the recruits SC brings in. Where were the holes for the running game.
Pat Ruel did an excellent job considering all the injury problems he faced last year. I'm sure Lane wants to start afresh and have the O-line coach on the same page. Cregg seems to be very good with young players.
Geez, next thing you know, he'll bench Jeff Byers.
Hiring his brother-inlaw so Lane can call the plays and not get second-guessed, not bringing Chow in due to his insecurities, now firing a coach because he turned him down a year ago... yeah, Lane's matured!
Massive injuries in 2008, never having the same runnig-back carry the ball 20-25 times a game, a non-scrambling QB in 2009, etc., he did a good job. Coaching hires are getting interesting: Carroll has only one opening left (RB), and has only hired two off his 2009 USC staff (Norton, Bates). And Arizona now needs a OC.
The only reason he should have fired coach Ruel, is he believes he has a better O-line coach like Tim Davis who you must admit did a better job with the line. Let's hope that is the reason for this...
