Well gee, I hate to say it but it may have something to do with the fact that we are banned from all postseason play. Sure there is still the Pac-10 championship to play for, but I have to imagine any excitement has been tempered.
I do know that if I were still a student and/or still lived in the area, I'd be at games all the time.
