How come only USC manages to uphold Pac 10 honor? (Eagle Bowl comebacks vs Temple don't count) What's the problem with me? I know that Phlu should have been my QB instead of my choking dog Mazola! We might have won..but to let those pansy's from Buckeye land bitchslap us is so painful. Did I say that I sucked yet? What is going to happen when we have to go to that dreaded Coliseum next year? and to Corvallis and to Berzerkley..Man o man am I sure glad that we don't have to go back to that blue disaster up in Idaho again..Damn Damn Damn..Hey Doctor Phil? Friggin Ohio State actually wins a friggin bowl game after 10 suck jobs..and it had to be against me. Did I mention that I suck when I cant play in my own yard? Fer Keeerysts saik, even Mat Barkley, in only his 2nd game in his career, goes into Ohio St's vaunted Horseshoe and drops a W on the Buckeyes, but do you think that I could at least match that? In the Rose Bowl of all places? Sheesh, I think that next time I play in a BCS game...if it ever happens again, it should be played at Autzen where I can at least compete!

My little sister Oregon111 has gone home to her husband for another beating, and it's right back to the same old shit of USC being the friggin face of the Pac 10 again probably next damn season when my hard games will all be on the road again...And then we have to listen to that song again..over and over and over...Quack Quack..

The Pac 10 was not stronger this year, USC was awful. When Pac10's best could not beat a mediocre Ohio State team and we are 2-5 in bowl games it shows how weak a conference we were.

I am glad we got a cupcake in our bowl game so the Pac10 would have two bowl wins.

Let's hope USC can come back next season so we can restore some respectability to the PAC10.

Oregon State and Arizona had pathetic performances. Cal and Stanford were overmatched. Geez, the Pac10 allowed Ohio State and Oklahoma to win bowl games.

Leave it to the Ducks to cough up the Rose Bowl title to the Big 11 for the first time in 10 years. Ore111 is crying in his beer somewhere. How long has it been since a Duck victory in the Rose Bowl game? 1917? Wow! Still, a great season for the Ducks, and they are loaded for next year.

What elation! The Oregon Sucks lose. This silly team from a third rate school with stupid uniforms paid for by Knight who makes a fortune on the backs of foreign labor got what it deserved. I love there logo, the O, signifying the inner part of a posterior, how appropriate for this haven of thugs and felons who have gathered to form a team.

Kinda funny how karma comes back to bite Stanford and Oregon after shamelessly running up the score on SC.

Maybe if they hadn't run up so many points against SC the one (and final) time they had a favorable matchup, they wouldn't have come up just a few points short in winnable bowl games.

Anyway, it's always nice to go out on a win. Even if it's a pretty meaningless win. Just ask Bobby Bowden. That's about the only positive of the bowl system.

What a disaster for the Pac 10. This also means that the entire league will be underrated in the opening rankings and the strengths of schedule are all going to take a mega hit next season. It will probably take an undefeated season in addition to things breaking right, for a Pac 10 team to make it to the NC game.
I sure do hope that the likes of Hawaii, Virginia, Minnesota and the Domers are all decent next season.

It was such a dissappointment to watch the Ducks staring like lost and terrified deer in the national spotlight of the Rose Bowl. I cannot even imagine the thought of actually losing a Rose Bowl game in this era to of all teams, Ohio St. Sickening! Just down right sickening.

Give the Oregon Sucks another 93 years and perhaps the Sucks can win a Rose Bowl.

but we are losing almost no one for next season and we are the favorites to win the pac10 next year

much like at boise, they did not play their best, but at least this time, no extra-curricular activities

usc is guaranteed to suck 3 more years until barkley graduates

but dont worry about me, ill just go snowboarding and enjoy living in the best state in america

Snowboarding! Damn you, O111! Seriously, this is not a recent phenomenon. The Ducks sucks away from their home pond. Something about the second hand smell of weed in claustrophobic Autzen gets them going. No Autzen, no show. The conference was and is not good. All PC needs to do is make some introspective coaching tweaks, and we will reclaim our throne. USC has a decided talent advantage over the rest of the PacX and should win on average 7 champs every 8 years with PC as coach. Occasionally, however, even the blind duck finds a nut.

Jay42, you said it all: Every game against SC is a bowl game for the rest of the Pac 10, has been for years. Case in point: This year, didn't both Stanford and Oregon lose the games they played the next week (letdown?). Clearly the Ducks coaching staff spent too much time preparing for SC and not enough for anyone else and/or they used it all up against the Trojans and had nothing new left for the Rose Bowl. Oregon Duck = One Trick Pony.

Ditto the above. The rest of the Pac10 always ends up shooting their loads when playing against SC and turning into such limp d*cks in OOC play.

I am sure Petey is reviewing the five W's as to how these PacIX schools beat him and make the adjustments. Remember 51grad 9-4 aint bad, and out OOC record is 22-0, Bowl record is 7-1. It just the two blow out losses that has you bombed. This has not happened much in school history. I kind of remember a whippin by Ohio State and one by ND both in the 60's.
