and let me guess, USC won't be in your pre-season ballot come August?

JoeTrojan Author Profile Page said:

Really? You REALLY think Central Michigan, Navy and Oregon State would beat USC if they played today?

Oh wait, USC BEAT Oregon State...Frankly, Stanford collapsed at Cal and played like crap. SC should be 20-22 on this ballot.

Your ballot, like so many others of yours, is crap...

it's hard for me to fathom how much this list lacks sense. how in the world do you keep your job mr. wolf?

You deserve to have your voter privileges revoked. Iowa #16? Are you really that stupid? They beat two top 10 teams and 4 top 25 teams including one of your beloved pac 10 teams and the other three on the road.

What a joke.

Is this a joke? You are the worst voter in the history of this poll. Thank goodness the rest of the posters balance your act out. Do you just make your picks out of spite?

BCS Orange Bowl Champ Iowa at 16? For crying out loud.

I understand that when you make these pics you know you're going to get comments like these and I'm guessing you get quite the kick out of reading them. I assume you purposefully make them the way you do just to get under people's skin, I get it.

But don't you have a responsibility as a voter to take this more seriously?

Your final rankings for the most part make absolutely no sense. How in the world do you have Iowa 16th behind such teams as Virginia Tech, Nebraska, Penn St., LSU, Pittsburgh, BYU, and Oregon?
Let's follow some logic:
Iowa beat Iowa St. in Ames (that's where Iowa St. is located by the way).
Iowa St. beat Nebraska in Lincoln.
Iowa beat Penn St. in State College.
Penn St. beat LSU in the Capital One Bowl.
Iowa beat Georgia Tech in the Orange Bowl (in cased you missed this news event).
Georgia Tech beat Virginia Tech.

Pittsburgh and Oregon both had 3 losses. Oregon lost to Ohio St. pretty handily, whereas Iowa took Ohio St. to overtime in Columbus -- with a 2nd string freshman QB making his first start no less.

Your complete lack of college football is terribly apparent and makes me wonder what the actual qualifications are for someone to be able to have voting privileges.

Scot, this is why you work for the LA Daily News and not a major newspaper. It's sad, but it seems like all you care about is action on this blog. Oh well.

Getting caught up on trivial and arcane issues such as knowledge and qualifications when disecting Scotty's ballot misses the larger the point. Smeagol-Wolf is merely another example of why newspaper circulation is plunging across the country today and why "journalists" are held in slighty higher esteem than pedophiles. Keep up the good work, Scotty... you are doing your "profession" proud.

2009 may have been the worst year in college football. Just a bunch of bad teams. Your ranking show that. When two slow , crappy , teams like Iowa and Georgia Tech play in the Orange Bowl. That about says it all.

Your selection of Oregon State over SC is pretty awesome and you can rest assured that nobody will ever accuse you of being a homer.

Final record SC, 9-4, Ore. St., 8-5. (actually 7-5 as Portland St. is 1-AA)
SC, bowl win, Ore. St. bowl loss.
SC best win, Ohio St on the road, best Ore. St. win, losses to Oregon & Cinci.
Head to head match up, SC W, Ore. St. L.

I think 22 is a bit low for them. The fact this sport at least partially relies on your vote to determine a champion is some of the most compelling evidence for a playoff that I can find.

Please hurry along and start complaining about the ice cream machine at the Galen Center.

Wolfie, do you have family that works for LSU. What is your infatuation with the Tigers. You do remember they did lose their bowl game.

Once again Wolfee allows YoYo and Cbucket to run amok with his ballot in the glue factory, this time he added spudjones to the mix.
