Florida announced after the Sugar Bowl that Urban Meyer's is 4-0 in BCS bowl games. And that his four BCS wins since 2005 are tied with USC coach Pete Carroll for the most by a head coach in that time frame. But Carroll's also got BCS wins in 2003 and 2004 in BCS games.

Let's please not bend the truth. Yes, Urban Meyer is 4-0 in BCS bowls, but he got destroyed by a bad Michigan team in 2007 at the Capital One Bowl. How do people forget these! East Coast bias. Michigan defeated Florida 41-35 and Florida was the defending champions that year, Michigan was supposed to be an average Big 10 team.

"destroyed" is wrong word sorry. Michigan was coming off from loss to Appalachian St, Oregon, Wisconsin and Ohio Stat. and Florida was a 3 loss (Auburn, LSU and Georgia) number 9 team in the country.
Why didn't they compare Rick Neuheisel's BCS bowl record to Urban Meyer's?
Yeah and according to Cbucket, Slick Rick is the equal of Pete, rising like a sky rocket after 4-8 and 7-6 seasons, I guess Plaschke's right the monopoly is over. LOL
