I already left this under the New Weasel entry, but it is too good to get left buried there. While listening to the Bruin post-game tonight, the broadcaster posed this question,"Does it sting more to lose to the Trojans in basketball or in football?"

You should have seen all the COCKroaches leaving Pauley. It was one of the greatest sites I've ever seen. And to listen to the bRuin post game show was the icing on the cake. THANK YOU bRuins for making my weekend. BTW, maybe you should pitch in and buy Norm some Fucla gear...he wasn't wearing any.
Just got back from Pauley and this is my report:
About 300 loyal SC rooters in Section 308, and we were loud. 'Southern California' spellout, 'We Are-SC', 'Just like football,' and finally in our closing song, 'u-c-l-a SUCKS.'
Our band of 300 was louder throughout the game than SUCLA's 10,000 or so. By the way, the stands had a lot of empty seats, I would guess 2,000 perhaps, so the SUCLA rats are scurrying from their sinking basketball ship, not to mention their football tugboat.
And it was so sweet that SUCLA was out of the game after about 7-minutes, and never got back in it, that the fans were hitting the exit at the 10 minute mark. It was a fiasco of a game for SUCLA, but I have never witnessed a better SC performance at Pauley in all the years I have been going to that hellhole.
And, by the way, K.O. rocks.

Poor little bRUINS...fUCLA, a basketball school, eh? LMAO!!! Check that, and call yourselves just plain LOSERS, since outside Wooden, the only decent figure in fUCLA history, there's not much basketball to speak of, really. In other words, you're NO good!!! ROFLMAO!!!
I just noticed that we had the same margin of victory against UCLA in both football and basketball...21 points.
And to think, during football season I told all my UCLA friends, "Don't worry. Basketball season is just around the corner."
Football is king, but there is always something extra sweet when USC beats the bRuins in basketball. At this rate, fUCLA will be one and done in the Pac-9 tourney. The gutless little cubs layed down.

First of all, congratulations to all you Trojans. That was a very good, well-coached SC team that dominated the Bruins on Saturday.
To put this in perspective: My 84-year-old father was a freshman at USC the last time the Trojans beat the Bruins that badly. He lettered in swimming, and then the Navy transferred him to UCLA for officer's training. He hated UCLA at first, but then grew to love it. He spent WWII on a battleship in the South Pacific, and then returned to UCLA and earned his degree.
My point: Both schools are great schools. A great rivalry, both in football and basketball.
