Good News Item Of The Day
Texas football and allied marketing agencies shipped its leftover 2010 logoed BCS title T-shirts and caps, which are printed for both teams prior to the BCS championship, to areas of Haiti affected by the January earthquake.

Soon to be handed out alongside Colts Super Bowl Championship shirts?
You truly are the worst journalist alive. I read this 5 days ago on another site...ugh.
I think you meant:
"Old News Item Of The Day"
This site has simply become a place for Wolf to rehash old items and post incorrect predictions regarding coaches and recruits.
The past several months, you have failed to provide a single piece of information that shows you have any insider knowledge of USC football. Everything you've posted regarding recruits has been available elsewhere, usually days before you've posted it.
Your answers to the weekly questions are common knowledge. You certainly aren't giving us the inside scoop whatsoever.
Wolf appears to be mailing it in more than usual these days. When will the announcement that he will, like Dohn did before him, be leaving for greener pastures?
Trendline for newspapers in general is still sloping downward with no change in sight.
The good news is that the information that we used to be able to count on is no longer here and the loss will be minimal. My only hope is they don't give us a SC version of Jon Gold the weasily cheerleader on the bruin site.
Fucla sent a box of EagleBank Bowl sweats. And a photo of Sh*t Bucket.
While this is highly commendable it's by no means unique. Apparel manufacturers routinely send printed but unsellable commemorative clothing to areas of the world that need clean, fresh items and couldn't care less what the images mean (and, of course, where it's also unlikely that the clothing in question will end up being photographed).
Right now, somewhere in the world a village is decked out in Philadelphia Phillies 2009 World Series Champions t-shirts and no doubt the shipment of Indianapolis Colts Super Bowl Champions items will be arriving shortly.
It makes for some truly surreal scenes sometimes -- an alternative universe of might-have-beens.
Another bad day at Black Rock for the baby journalist.
Man, judging by your comments, you sc fans are really way too nice to the man who brings you sc news. After all, if Wolf wasn't writing anything worth noting, then none of you sc fans would be commenting or even peering at this site every day. Right?
LMAO @ you guys. You guys crack me up! You're all too funny! XOXO :-D
Hook 'em, Haitians! I here the crime rate for UT football is about the same as in Port-au-Prince.
I was going to make a joke but it wouldn't have compared to DFW.
Well played, sir.
Revlonruin, right back at you.......
Here should be hear. Geez, why can't we have an edit function? Thx SG.
Most of you punks, ( not all of you, ) who bash on Wolf, are either bruins or people who need someone to pick on. USC is the greatest Men's athletic program off all time, and they have improved the CHEERLEADER situation. You bruins are, and have always been weak. Your comments sound like 2nd class citizens weaping about the people in power. We are SC ! If you don't like it, too bad. People like you are too weak to do anything about it. Thanks for reading, Mike Bailey--US Army/Cal State Northridge 1983. Wolfie aint' perfect, but c'mon, he works for the Daily News. What do you expect, Walter Cronkite ?
Wolfamel - Where is your story on the true Good News Item of the Day? Jacki Gemelos made her collegiate debut Sunday!! Anybody ever think they are having a bad day? Try 4 ACL tears. 5 surgeries. Yes, we only have 2 ACLs. What a warrior to even get back on the court, let alone put up 13 points.
My vote for Captain Courageous Comeback of the Year/Decade.
What a joke. Almost as embarrassing as constantly going on another school's blog.
So true, Conquest. They're always here looking for daddy's approval. ``Pay attention to me!!!'' ``We're good too!!!'' Have some pride. Go hang out with the rest of the Long Beach State grads on the UCLA blog.
