He Said It
``I have to tell you, I really do not see an NFL-style playoff coming to college football any time soon.''
-- New Pac-10 deputy commissioner Kevin Wieberg, who made the following statement in 2005 when he was commissioner of the Big 12 Conference and BCS coordinator.

AAARRRRRGGGGH!! but doesn't he realize Southern Cal would win the NCAA crystal ball every single year IF ONLY there were a football playoff?? oh! i am slain!
C'mon Bucket, that's not how USC fans think!
We don't think we'd win EVERY year, just a few more times a decade, that's all!! Take this past decade for instance, rather than just 2 national championships, we could've had 4 to 5 crystal balls!
Best part about the playoff in college football, FUCLA wouldn't be involved!!!
FIGHT ON!
I think a college football playoff would be a good thing for UCLA. They could be like James Madison or Weber State coming in and beating a good team in the NCAA's once every few years.
Also, UCLA should send all of their leftover BCS bowl t-shirts to Haiti too. What? Oh.
Or he made the preceding statement in 2005.
Fire Kevin Wieberg!
I hate to tell you but congress has opened up an investigation into the anti-trust aspects of the BCS, and therefore a possible play-off.
