A year ago this draft was considered to be a great QB class, especially if Mark Sanchez stayed for his senior year. Now it looks like he had little to worry about.

The readers have a right to question the absence of Scott's post about the Washington game. People can critique Scott and still read his comments. The two are not mutually exclusive.

What exactly is Scott doing when NOT covering the basketball team and being a day late on the latest coaching hire (with wrong info.)?
I can't wait for the SC beat writer to stop mailing it in and we get someone who cares.

To be honest while I love Ben, he doesn't seem to do much reporting. It is like an official news site without any digging or critical analysis.
While Wolf might give the football scuttlebutt (and often MISS the scuttlebutt until someone else comes out with it) he obviously gets lazy sometimes and just relies upon a random negative statement.
He also ignores good (and bad) stuff with non-football sports especially. In fact his non-football reporting only focuses on the negative and tends to be superficial. He obviously understands football much more than hoops which I think makes for an under-qualified reporter.
Scott is a USC grad so he has a bit of background and understanding of conference business but for all his yelping about the Versus Conference and PX sucky contracts he is totally dropping the ball about the sweeping news on conference changes. Does he figure everyone else is writing about it so he doesn't have to?
It would be nice to have someone who knows and likes at least the big sports, and who gives the good and bad, presenting both sides. It would also be great to get reporting of a wider variety of athletics, especially basketball. And what about getting some conference news?
I guess having a really good USC blog is too much to ask but if anyone can recommend something it would be great.
