Super Bowl Pick

I wonder who the Baby Quarterback is rooting for in today's Super Bowl? He's only seven years away from turning pro after all.

Doesn't Secondhand Wolf, the Baby Journalist have a better topic to post on the most important day in pro football season. The SC Journalism program mourns in shame.

SW, you entitle the comment "Super Bowl Pick," but instead of actually giving a pick, you take yet another uncalled for swipe at a 13 year old kid. Say what you will about the assclown who refers to himself as the "Dreammaker," Steve Clarkson, or even the kid's dad, but leave the kid alone with all of this "Baby QB" nonsense. Several of your readers have pleaded with you to act professional and leave the kid alone, yet for some reason you choose to insult him and us with your immaturity. We expect such foolishness from the bruin trolls, not from you, an SC grad who should be respectful of David Sills, who is as of now a Trojan.

Remember guys, supposedly the Baby Journalist doen't read our comments, he just spews his usually negative points of view. So I will take a guess and say that the Baby Journalist picks LSU to win today's game.

"doen't read our comments"

Oh, Gargamel aka Secondhand Wolf reads them frequently. Note his sock puppet, "Trojan Rewind."

Some Fun Superbowl Facts to lure in Southern Cal Kool-aiders back in from the ledge following wolf’s repeated attacks on the Baby QB:

UCLA Bruins have been in every Superbowl with three exceptions. Same as Southern Cal!

UCLA Great and NFL Hall of Famer Troy Aikman was the first quarterback to start for three Super Bowl champions in a four-year span.

Bruin defensive lineman Mike Lodish played for six Super Bowl teams during his NFL career. Of course, Southern Cal cannot match either feat! Kudos to UCLA, a “basketball school”

Here are some Fun Q’s: which University has produced the most Superbowl players? Alabama.
What team has the most players drafted in last 10 years (the chetey era)? Miami. Southern Cal is 7th. well, that's not too shabby!

Sh*t Bucket, how many Fucla QBs have played in the Super Bowl besides Aikman? ZERO

hey Buckett.

Can you name the college quarterback who Aikman never beat?

Do you have any idea how many more Trojans played in NFL than Bruins? Played in Pro Bowl? Won Rose Bowls? This list could go on and on.

Nubs: Zero? really? have you ever heard of Jay Schroeder who played in Superbowl XXII for Champion Washington Redskins? How about Billy Kilmer, who after being selected as a Pro Bowler completed 14/28 passes in a losing effort against the "perfect" Miami team in Superbowl VII? did you know Steve Bono was an All-Pro teamer who backed up HOF Montana and Young in severl Superbowls and was himself a Pro-Bowl selection for KC later?

quite a dizzying array of successfull QB's for a basketball school!! ...and Southern Cal (the big football school) has how many QB's who have played in the SuperBowl? who is the football school anyway?

BucketHead

I don't care what they do post college. It is a totally different game. Once they're in the pros, they can't come back to help your 6-6 team. Oops sorry, I forgot you won 7 when you beat that powerhouse Temple team.

About Inside USC

Scott Wolf has covered USC for the Daily News since 1996. A USC graduate, he covered his first Trojan game in 1984 for the Daily Trojan. Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in antagonizing the "Internet geeks."
