Super Payout

Reggie Bush earned $500,000 with the Saints winning the Super Bowl. That amounts to $20,000 for every yard gained against the Colts.

This is just another poor excuse for journalism meant to be disparaging. Reggie Bush actually gained 67 yards, not the paltry 25 you suggest, in helping his team win the Super Bowl. 67 may be by no means jaw-dropping, but he was reasonably effective when utilized and was third (behind p. thomas and colston) among Brees' weapons in offensive yardage.

Like the fellow above mentioned, we actually count receiving yards in this crazy game ya Terrorist looking journalist. The total actually comes out to $7,936 a yard. Reggie played well and helped his team win the Super Bowl. Get off his ass Scott!

AHH, ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF YOUR STUPIDITY.

YOU CONTINUE TO PROVE ME CORRECT.

BUSH GAINED 25 RUSHING, 30+ RECEIVING.

BUSH AND HENDERSON BOTH HAD 60+ YARDS.

NEXT TIME YOU MAY WANT TO SPECIFY BETWEEN RUSHING, RECEIVING, AND/OR ALL-PURPOSE YARDS WHEN DEALING WITH BUSH SEEING AS HE'S UTILIZED AS A DUAL-THREAT OPTION.

BUSH=FILTHY RICH.
WOLF=BALD LOSER.

Is it possible that the Saints would cut Reggie at some point for Salary Cap help?

zowie...what a non-impact performance for a “superstar” player….25 yards rushing oh and don't forget the 4 yds returning yardage. (flushing sound)

but here's what i found more intriguing: first half coming to close...NewOrleans needs a touchdown to tie. Third and goal on the one: where's Bush? on the sideline watching. Fourth and one. . .again Bush watches. Both times NO rush is stuffed. shades of Texas in '05! two most pivotal plays in Bush's football career and both coaches keep him on the sidelines.

well we all know NO coach Payton is a whiz so his judgement can't be questioned...What to these coaches know that everyone else doesn’t??? why is Bush not allowed on the field for the big plays??

oh well, if reggie kisses Bruce Jenners arse, maybe he can have a job on Jenners' tv reality show after he is waived next year.

He's gonna have to take a helluva pay cut. I wonder if he'll back in Diego, as a Charger?

Scott, seems you go out of your way to show how petty and small you really are. Bush had a good game, great no but good yes. Envy is one of the seven deadly sins, the one you have down pat. Let it go.

Hey Bucket of Crap,

You just proved how valuable Reggie is for his teams. You state Reggie is not allowed on the field for the big plays, well, guess what, in both those instances the team didn't make their big play.

I know, I know, sanctions will be coming...blah, blah, blah!

What are fellow Trojans thoughts about Bush if SC gets penalized because of him/parents? I have a big problem with him since he could have paid the guy off and made this go away. I'm not interested in bRuin thoughts, since I already know you'll make snide remarks. Just interested if Trojans will still like him. I'd like to see him lose the Heisman if he is proved dirty. Don't know how the NCAA would expect SC to know where Bush's parents live, let alone if they're paying for it?

Charlie Bucket = FAIL

Between picking on a 13 year old quarterback, ripping into Leinart whenever he gets the chance, and squeezing every bit of happiness out of any Trojan related triumph, Scooter Wolf simply cements his status as "Super Douche" every time he puts pen to paper.

I'd love to give credit to whoever posted this originally, but I thought it was so funny, I'd post it again. The following link is to a video on Youtube showing Gargamel, AKA Wolf, doing what he does best. Very funny stuff, indeed. (you really only have to watch the first 10-20 seconds to get the gist of the whole thing, so it's not really a waste of your time)

well, failure might have been too strong. He'll never match his success at SC and he'll continue to see his earnings shrink while MJD's $$ goes the other way (up, for you slow trOGies). They hype machine can only take Reggie so far and now he's in for a fall.

Scott,
It must be fun to write for a bunch of spoiled children who continue to knock everything you give them because you tell the truth. Bush took a pay cut to play in the NFL and to say that Carroll didn't know where he lived and who represented him is to say his in home visit was in a trailer park.Get real people the coaches knew what was going on;they left before NCAA got to town and Lame was hired because his daddy is a great coach.
