To me, he is a perfect candidate for OLB. Rivals has him a 4 stars, Scout gives him 3.
Soma is fast and a ball hawk, can break tackles and punish a line if used as a FB. If he has just a little of the Maualuga intensity he will be an animal in the box and a potential interception machine.

Soma is a beast! A Man among boys. Powerful, aggressive; plays with a chip on his shoulder and a nasty streak--a cross between Rey Rey and Seau with more size, and best of all he is a polynesian warrior. Welcome braddah Soma to the Trojan Clan!

About Inside USC
Scott Wolf has covered USC for the Daily News since 1996. A USC
graduate, he covered his first Trojan game in 1984 for
the Daily Trojan. Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet
message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this
moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in
antagonizing the "Internet geeks."
