About Inside USC
Scott Wolf has covered USC for the Daily News since 1996. A USC
graduate, he covered his first Trojan game in 1984 for
the Daily Trojan. Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet
message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this
moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in
antagonizing the "Internet geeks."

I'm ashamed to say I know of a couple of these guys who write for that shill website. Ralph Mancini is an out of work loser who tried to get a non-paid job at Newsday in Long Island at 40 with the hopes they would hire him.
The site as you remember is the same one that brought us the bull stories about 6 or 7 young men taking steroids last year including two USC players that were never substantiated in the least. And that was passed on by another guy who I won't give the pub of mentioning who is another Long Island schmuck trying to break into sports broadcasting with podcasts and sensational reports on the internet.
And again, guess who is on their website cover for the magazine they are selling? Taylor Mays. USC sells.
The "Draft Bible" (a ridiculous name for such garbage) is such a self promoting but in every way an illegitimate haven for a few Long Island wannabes (set up by a yeshiva geek who never picked up a ball in his life, after he graduated from Hofstra and hated his teaching job.) He got together with his co-writers doing fantasy leagues.
Their dream is to be on ESPN as "expert" guests and eventually to get a sports talk show where they get paid to spout off random and unsubstantiated opinions. One of them I know actually is hoping to get a scouting and management job in the NFL by "getting his name out there". I'm sure they'll reach their dream. If Wolf can get a gig as a sports expert who can't?
OMG! Kool-Aid brigade is working OT! when you can't deny the facts, destroy the messenger!
funny thing is, this expert analysis is right on, baby. how many times did Mays run up on a play late or just plain miss his big knockout hit because he played the angle wrong and was 3 yards off the ball when he arrived?
and now Mays' big mouth is talking him right into the 2nd round despite his incredible combine stats.
No, anyone who has seen Mays knows he goes for the big hit. He doesn't "miss", guys go down to avoid the hit which is why he has been flagged for late hits so often.
When everyone loved Mays' vicious hits I was on here saying that the guy takes some dirty shots when kids go down to avoid being hit. One in particular (I'm sure someone here recalls) was to the back of the helmet of a kid who was obviously trying to avoid getting hit and was already practically on his bottom.
I think that sort of viciousness isn't called for in the college game, and yes I put that on PC. It's fine that Rey, Brian, Clay and so many other players are blowing up people in the NFL but in college it just seems a bit dirty. Since Mays led the team in tackles it really makes it look like he's the only guy doing it but it was the part of the SC game plan under PC.
Bucket has never said a dang thing that wasn't part of him being a sad, poor, USC obsessed Westwood High loser who spends his time on Trojan sites being spiteful because UCLA left him with so many bad memories and nothing to feel good about. Drink bleach so you can forget the pain. But not before you deliver my order.
Secondhand Wolf Baby Journalist, one-in-being with the Bucket-of-Sh**,
Timmay is dead on. Late flags by overzealous zebras hurt Mays. The dude is a stud and, like Rey Maualuga, will be a beast in the NFL and prove the haters like you wrong.
Think of it this way Bucket-of-Wolf-Sh**, Mays is one more successful NFL player who will disdain you and keep yoo out of HH.
Note to Timmay: Forget about Bucket-of-Wolf-Sh**. Let's keep our on on draft day and we'll see who has the last word.
Fight On!
