If I recall right, we are allowed 9 coaches. Iknow you have listed them as they've been hired, but could you put them together here all in one place for us, along with their titles? Thanx, and thanx for the forums too.
PS Lets assume Morton and McNair stay for now.

A: Here we go:

Joe Barry, Linebackers
John Baxter Associate Head Coach/Special Teams
James Cregg, Offensive Line
Willie Mack Garza, Secondary
Clay Helton, Quarterbacks
Monte Kiffin, Assistant Head Coach
Todd McNair, Running Backs
John Morton, Passing Game Coordinator/Wide Receivers
Ed Orgeron, Defensive Coordinator/Recruiting Coordinator/Defensive Line

The catch here is that Orgeron holds the title of defensive coordinator but Monte Kiffin is running the defense. There is also no offensive coordinator because Lane Kiffin will handle that job.

resolved: a majority of Southern Cal fans have conceded Southern Cal is a legit term with which to refer to Trojans, as Kiff and Coach O do. my question: will you now consider updating the name of blog to "Inside Southern Cal"??

A: I can't change the blog to Inside Southern Cal yet because the athletic dept. still refuses to agree that it is an acceptable term.

Are the on-field and on-court memorial tributes to the late Mario Danelo and Ryan Francis, respectively, in perpetuity? Any info you can provide is appreciated.

A: As far as I know, there are no plans to remove them and Ryan Francis' locker is still adorned in the basketball locker room with his name and picture.

About Inside USC

Scott Wolf has covered USC for the Daily News since 1996. A USC graduate, he covered his first Trojan game in 1984 for the Daily Trojan. Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in antagonizing the "Internet geeks."
