Seattle Theory
One thing I've heard recently at USC is that the Seattle Seahawks were keen to hire Jeremy Bates as offensive coordinator and wanted him to control which assistants were hired offensively instead of Pete Carroll. And this supposedly was one of the things the Seahawks told Carroll before they hired him.
Now I find it hard to believe anyone wanted Bates to do anything, but the theory is designed to explain why Pat Ruel never made it to Seattle and why Bates handpicked his offensive assistants.
In order to believe this theory, I would need to know if any Seahawks executives met Bates. If they did, than it would be impossible to believe he would have such control.
Bates is like the Scott Wolf of Offensive Coordinators.
God, I miss Jerry Springer.

Pete is old news and gone. Nobody cares about the Seahawks....except for their new mascot, Brennan.

Charlie Bucket is another name for Secondhand Wolf. Why he keeps posting these inane comments is laughable. Constant scoops? Is this guy for real? I sometimes read Wolf's posts and they amount to little more speculation, cut&paste jobs from other sources, an occasionally some simple source news items. Secondhand Wolf has never in the time I've read him, produced a genuine scoop: news that no one else has. The guy is such a negative jerk that no one at SC talks directly to him. That's why other reporter's have firsthand quotes and we have Secondhand Wolf. This Charlie-bucket-of=Sh** thing is asinine.

Guys, I went on a "11 step program" that has enabled me to not respond to the Bucket. I think if we all ignore him and do not respond to his inane comments, it's like if a tree falls in the forest and no one is around to hear it. Does it make a sound?

I come on this site and other USC sites to find out information about USC. Try it for one week. At first it's tempting to read these comments, but then you realize that you really don't care what these losers are writing. One week and you too will feel great.
