Martin Departs

USC senior associate athletic director Brandon Martin has resigned to accept a similar position at the University of Oklahoma. Martin, who oversaw the hiring of Kevin O’Neill and Michael Cooper, will also supervise the Sooners’ basketball program.
He also played basketball for the Trojans and will probably be an athletic director at some university in the next 2-3 years.

  1. Well wolfbag … there goes your ONLY source for information within the Athletic Department ! Fire-up the Inside Oklahoma website !

  2. Why would a L.A. guy who played at Washington Prep H.S. and went to USC leave for a similar position at Oklahoma? Maybe more money or is he jumping ship before sanctions are handed out by the ncaa. He did hire Monier to run the women’s BB program until Cooper finished with the Sparks who was let go already after one season. Handwriting on the wall for some in the athletic dept. Martin applied for the AD job at Rice a few months ago, also.

  3. check out my posts from LAST week! Who’s gone? hahahaha Yep, T5, you’re a REAL insider.
