USC lost to UCLA, 13-7, in baseball Friday night and things got testy as assistant coach Frank Cruz accused UCLA coach John Savage of throwing at Trojans DH Cade Kreuter, the son of USC coach Chad Kreuter.
And now, more answers to questions.

Is there any fall out or reaction from SC administrators for Brian Cushing's positive test for a steroid masking agent?

A: There was generally disappointment that he tested positive. Some were not surprised but that was merely an echo of fans who claim not to be surprised even though there was no knowledge of any positive tests for steroids while he was at USC.

Scott, you said it was too late for Bradford to be switched to LB. I know he doesn't want to switch, but, in my opinion, if he has a future in pro ball, he would have to improve and be a lot more consistent as a running back, whereas he might well have a good shot as a LB. I may well be wrong, but for the sake of argument, lets just suppose I am right. If the kid could be convinced of that, why would it be too late to move him now, at once, because look at the instant impact Kennard was able to make? Thanx a lot for your thoughts here. PS I will grant that he might be a little raw as a LB for pro ball after next season, but a year on the taxi squad, if necessary, easily fixes that.

A: If he wanted to make the change, it would probably work. He'd need a training camp to get used to the outside spot again and learning the assignments. But there would also be questions about whether he was big enough (height, not weight) to play outside linebacker in the NFL. But it would entirely depend on his attitude for him to be successful. That's why it would not work now. Because he does not want to switch.

Do you think Lane Kiffin will leave USC for another non-NFL job and be a head coach at another school?

A: For years, fans were upset whenever I said I believed Pete Carroll would leave USC and return to the NFL one day. I don't really see Kiffin leaving (if he wins) for another college job but then maybe he will fall out with his A.D. one day or some other unforeseen event will happen that will cause him to leave. So the answer is, you never know.

Was assistant coach John Morton, a former assistant of Jim Harbaugh at University of San Diego, the unnamed source that Jim Harbaugh cited on the USC coaching staff in 2007 that Pete Carroll would leave after that season for the NFL? Also, did Pete Carroll know Morton was the spy for Harbough?

A: There was widespread speculation when Harbaugh first made his comments that Morton was the source but Carroll said Morton was not the source and Morton also denied it.

Your American College Baseball is facinating: is it common for coaches to play in the games? And then to intentionally try to strike the opposing coaches son?
How uncivilized.

I think the Resos ban should be permanent, so we don't have to endure stupidity.

Dude, this happened at a Little League game with 10 year olds I went to this morning. Except there it is a little difficult to tell if the pitcher is actually throwing at the batter. When they try to do it, more often than not, they pitch a perfect strike.

Baseball update: UCLA 13 Southern Cal 1(?)

6th inning, so there is still hope for us.

I hope our boys weren't too intimidated by savage Coach Savage's tactics...what a barbarian.

Baseball update: we loaded the bases in the Eighth, but grounded out to end the inning :(

Now we have brought in Lil' Dedeaux (ERA 9.35)

15-2 going to the Ninth...we still have one chance left.
