I don't even think USC had space for the twins. USC only has 12 scholarships for next year because of self-imposed sanctions. And two scholies are going to big men who, coincidentally like the Wear twins, won't be eligible until the 2012 season.

the internet is buzzing about a proposed amnesty plan for front running, band wagon Southern Cal fans who will want to switch their allegiance to UCLA after the NCAA drives the final nail into Southern Cal's coffin.

apparently, they will have to burn their Southern Cal gear, kiss a picture of Rick NeuHassle and renounce Southern Cal. since the vast majority of Southern Cal fans are front runner and band wagoners, we could see an amazing number of Southern cal fans come to UCLA.

I think what they are going to do is make the bRuins national champs from 2002-2009, this way the little cubs will be happy.

Smart choice for basketball as much as I'd like to see them at SC. SC is a second tier basketball school - kind of like UCLA for football. Most SC fans would agree, but what I find hysterical, particularly on this blog, is the large majority of UCLA football fans who think that they are at, or very close to, the same level as USC football. These UCLA jokers are delusional in my view, and I find their constant posts pathetic. Hopefully, this banter will slow down once again when the Bruins post another average season. At least CalGirl knows enough to go away after the seasonal beatdown.

Has anybody noticed the Bucket's fixation with gayness in his posts over the past week? Kind of ironic coming from a Bruin...

NOBS (who is despised by even trOJies) and his little helpers can create as many faux-Bucket ID's as he/she wishes, there will always be only one witty and charming ChuckerBucker, and clearly that charm and wit is something little NUBS can never copy!!!

If the Wear twins want to win, they'll avoid UCLA. That ship has sailed. Back to the good old Walt Hazzard era for Howland.

I normally don't venture to this side of insidesocal, but had to see this Wear twin update. While here, I noticed that Bobo is absolutely right about second tier for SC in basketball, second tier for UCLA in football. He is right historically speaking. If you go back to the 60s, that view is accurate. However, if you go back to the 60s, one would also see that UCLA has the longest series win streak in the rivalry. As Bobo can ignore the series outcomes from just over a decade ago, Bruin fans can look to the future and see the change a comin' based on the recruiting improvements.
