What's Next?
First Rey Maualuga entered an alcohol-rehab center. Then Brian Cushing tested positive for steroids. Now Kevin Ellison was arrested with 100 pills of Vicodin in his car. The 2009 NFL draft class is going through a rough stretch. I texted one member of it today to ask who was next?

pretty sad... hopefully these guys are getting the help they need... sounds like Rey is...
It also needs to be said that this stuff seems to be happening after they left the nest...
One thing we can all count on: another negative post by Scotty boy.
come on NOBS - all these guys do is give Wolfie negative stories to write.
wolf, now this is what i call a sweeeeet scoop!!
no surprise however, that the Kool-Aid gang demands that wolf only print the good news and avoid anything that is not "pro-Southern Cal" no matter how true.
guys, i come on here to get sweeeeeet scoops about Southern Cal sports, not just the "vanilla" content of some other blogs. i suppose wolf will be vilified for posting any info concerning the immminent NCAA sanctions?
AUUUU-WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Cush didn't test positive for steroids. Also, his test happened first (at the beginning o last season), but was reported second. In one test the A test came out positive but the B test didn't, and in a subsequent test, both did. That subsequent test is what he was nailed for. But the discrepancy also lends some credence to is contention of having hyperactive glands.
Funny how the Houston sportswriters have his back more than his old SC friends. You can learn more here:

The baby blue vultures are circling overhead.
Interesting try at name-dropping Wolf. The fact that you texted a team member infers that you have some juice. Unfortunately -o sourceless one- what you did not say is that you received a text response or even just one heads up from a team member. I am sure they avoid you like the plague.
Forget about overs and unders on the NCAA report. Let's start an overs and unders on how long Wolf goes without a firsthand quote this season.
Pressers don't count Wolf. Only one-on-ones.
i don't who's dumberer, the person who does not recognize a sweeeeeet scooop when they read one, or, the person who complains daily about a reporter, yet follows the reporter's blog with rabid fervor.
i say, just keep ooooooooon scoopin' wolf!
ooooooooOOOOOOOOoooooo!!!
uh, i mean AUUUUU-WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
"scoop". you keep saying that word. i don't think that word means what you think it means.
but he was still busted for taking a banned substance Bosco or do you go to the Pete Carroll school of "you can do whatever you want and we will still have your back" education
@Trojan Rewind, I am taking a wait and see attitude on this. The drug testers and anti-dopers are a step above lie detectors with the false positives and negatives. The NFL process is too reliant on the testing and not reliant enough on other evidence. If Cush gets caught with the same thing again, he's either phenomenally stupid or maybe there is a natural explanation. I don't think the story is just going away though.
