Attendance Drop
Attendance at sports events in the Los Angeles/Orange County areas dropped 16 percent to 20.8 million people in 2009 compared to a reported 24.9 million in 2007. That's according to a study from the Los Angeles Sports Council and Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce.
USC home football attendance dropped from 87,476 in 2007 to 84,799 in 2009.

I think that a serious percentage of the dropoff can be blamed on bruin football and the huge dropoff from the glory days of Karl Dorrell to the doofus they now have running the amatuer hour program across town
WHOA!!That is totally unfair, hang on, I'm looking this up.... hmmm, 2007 UCLA average attendance, 76,379. 2009 average attendance 64,547. 12,000 times 6... I guess that's about 72,000 less tickets on me. Now, let's figure the average person spends $50 on tickets, soda, hot dog, parking etc., that's only an annual $3.6 million ding to UCLA. But hey, I'm worth it, right?
I love it how condoms somehow put UCLA into the mix, when UCLA wasn't even mentioned by Scott Wolf the greates sports journalist in the nation. Haters!! SC sucks! SC sucks! SC sucks!
BruinRob is one smart dude, and yes Scott Wolf is the greatest sports writer in the nation, by far.
Calling Scott Wolf a great reporter is like calling me a great coach. Did you guys see how Scott is now getting scooped by a student at USC writing a blog for ESPN? So now the OC Register, the LA Times and a student all OWN him...
Imagine how much more it will drop once we send the illegals back to their countries !!! Hell, you might be able to make a 30 mile drive in 30 minutes !!!!!!!!!
