With the NCAA sanctions, it's not a great time to be a walk-on hoping for a scholarship.

Maybe, maybe not. The University has the right and the authority to review and discount the admission for a student based on need and circumstances. So, the scholarship issue may not be an issue at all.

sure, everyone wants to pay $50k a year to walk on at SC. And, I'm sure NOBODY at the NCAA will be looking over SC's shoulder to be sure they don't just start giving out "need based" grants to star football players... Sanction On!

Or maybe i am just being envious of Southern Cal again...
