Well, Rob, as articulate as your remark is not, since it is unintelligible, how would you have him look at it? Pretend it does not exist? Or acknowledge the facts and move on?
In fact, since USC has nothing to lose if no bowl game to worry about missing, if I were UCLA, Stanford or another opponent, I would be more concerned than ever about playing the Trojans, especially with such a young roster. Fewer expectations, less nerves, more pressure on you - who haven't yet lived up to any of your self-promoted pre-season hype. In fact, this year could be fun, acting as the No. 1 "spoilers" for a change.

It's really easy UCLA ROB... Matt Barkley will be in the NFL someday unlike UCLA QBS that play at a low level and then go one to sell used cars. (Don't bring up Troy he was a decade ago at least now)
He sees a little bigger picture than the UCLA fan...the NFL with all its money and prestige. Playing at USC puts you on the stage and he has the stuff to go onto the next level even if he were playing for Slippery Rock (remember them?)
So have fun UCLA fans that hang out at the USC site and enjoy the victory(s) you might have gotten with our forfeits they should make your pathetic program shine a little dimmer.
The bottom line: USC has had more national championships in football taken away by the NCAA, than UCLA has ever won, or will ever win. If the NCAA had done its job during the Wooden era and investigated Sam Gilbert with similar diligence, then UCLA would have received the death penalty for its athletic program, and all those basketball championship banners would be gathering dust in a closet someplace.

Old school...if, if, if your Aunt would have had a penis, she would have been your Uncle...UCLA was cleared of any wrong doing, thus our banners hang on the rafters with high honor and pride...the NCAA made many millions off USC and USC made millions off the NCAA the cow had lots of milk and the milkman was milking the cow, until the cow went dry...then the cow went to the slaughter house. Most of you SC fans were in denial that anything ever happended, and many of you said "nothing is going to happen, USC makes the NCAA too much money" it's past tense, USC MADE money. Justice has been served, when you cheat as blantenly as USC did, with no regards for rules, you're going to get bit on the arse...Joe McKnight driving an SUC while they're being investigated?? and the coaches knew about it?? how arrogant can a program be???
All the sniping! I'm a Bruin fan, but I'm also a football fan. I'd like to have two good teams in LA. I think Pete turned a blind eye. Garrett certainly did. I love the quote about Garrett asking if "B" was an agent, and taking B's hearsay denial as sufficient reason to do nothing.
Barkley will be fine. SC's an NFL machine, a couple of years of sanctions isn't going to change that.
As for radioman@5:00. Gotta laugh; you certainly proved your point with your last line! Seriously, two great schools. Dr. Sample has done wonders. Of course, SAT scores don't tell the whole story. Check out the institution-reported statistics at collegeboard.com. Fully 92% of UCLA admits had a h.s. GPA of 3.75 or higher vs. 50% for SC. If I were a h.s. student, I'd be proud to be accepted at either school.

Just because I type faster than you.... I did not attend any SoCal school,nor do I live in SoCal so when I saw the jealously vis a vis the USC program, I did some fact checking. Hurts doesn't it. I'll type anything you want in multiple languages if you wish so you can comprehend.
