This is like the 7-year old, who keeps saying over & over what he did for his sister b/c that was the right thing to do, when in fact he did just the opposite.

Guilty conscience sucks. Face it Cheaty Petey, your "legacy" is sealed.

Good for Pete:

"That's so far out of whack to make claims and to stop people from coming to practice. Ninety-nine percent of the people who came to practice were people from the community. People who would go out, youth groups, schools, church groups, boys and girls clubs, it was all that kind of stuff and it was a beautiful thing. Because our players mixed with the kids and we made a relationship on an ongoing basis that made it a very special experience that we were able to share with the community around us."

Openness is a feature, not a bug.

I suppose this will be the last word about SC from Coach Carroll. And I will miss his frankness and freshness. He talked like no other football coach in history.

The greatness of SC is in part confirmed by the many ucla supporters who come on to this blog to put down SC. It is actually a back-handed compliment, and we welcome your continuing support

Pete Carol has been a very naughty boy. Very naughty, indeed. A bad, bad boy.

That silly jury that believed all those terrible things about me, and that judge who said I couldn't be a teacher anymore -- I bet they would have come down hard on that bad, bad Pete Carol. He wouldn't be allowed to coach again -- just like me!

And all you Troxans are just as devilish as that Pete Carol!

Pete Carroll and what he did at USC and for Los Angeles deserves our deepest Thanks and appreciation!

Lloyd Lake's life and times here in California will go down as one of the worst disasters ever. This self serving drug dealer has lied his way into the hearts of every Bruin fan.

Lloyd Lake accomplished in back rooms what UCLA could never do on a football field. Playing it with the expertise of a drug dealer, he brought down Reggie Bush.

While Pete Carroll was working in LA to help make a better city, the drug dealers struck back.

Now down goes LA.
