Jones Transfers
Linebacker Jarvis Jones, who suffered what is believed to be a career-ending neck injury, was granted his release to transfer to any school. What is interesting is if Jones believes he can play elsewhere by seeing other doctors who might clear him.

Does he have to return the Range Rover?
USC Alum '02
good luck to you, young Mr. Jones.
now down to business:
come on Fri-day!!
come on Fri-day!!
(it will be) time to Par-tay! Par-tay!!
AUUUUUU-WOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
Wow you guys are despicable low lives.
man up Blah. sheeesh. this is a sports blog. you are too soft and weak for this blog.
NUBS: where are you??? you have been called out!! loser leaves town on the Bowl Ban!!!
where are you NUBS???
Jarvis Jones is one smart guy, I'm shocked he went to SUC to begin with...Jones knows the hammer is coming this Friday.
He wants to play at a school that will actually play on TV the next few seasons, and will be Bowl eligible -something current trogans will not know what it's like...I feel bad for USC fans....NOT!!! HAHAHAHA
You 'Ruin fans are so cute.
I wonder what you clowns will have to complain about once the NCAA's ruling comes and it doesn't include a postseason or TV ban...
I love fucla's new slogan: "If you can't beat 'em, call 'em cheaters!"
There will be no ban and no loss of TV. No vacating wins or lack of postseason eligibility. If the NCAA had the goods, this would have all been done 6 years ago, but they don't.
Right On Brother Rob! This is nothing like Milton Knox telling me he wanted to play for a winner when he left UCLA last week.
I heard he is transferring to Florida
It's hilarious to see all these "trojies" in denial:
"no t.v. ban" "no games will be forfeited" "no post season ban" ROTFLMAO
TO TRAINOFTHOUGHT: new slogan? USC's slogan in 2001 became: "if you can't beat them, cheat them!"
To Coach RN: when you have very high expectations of playing, and you're stuck as fourth in the depth chart because you're not quite grasping the system, and you have 4 additional studs coming in the Fall: the National Gatoreade player of the year Malcolm Jones, Jordon James, Farr 6'4" speedy monster and Ditriech Riley (BTW- all four got away from USC) who can blame Milton Knox for transferring...we all wish the best...unlike you ungratful trojies that slander each trogan player that leaves your filthy FUsCK program.
Same thing happened with Darryl Poston. Hope everything works out for Jones, and that he stays healthy.
On the lighter side, always fun to see the Bruin fans pining for NCAA sanctions. Nothing to root for; only someone to root against. The UCLA way.
Reading comprehension is pretty low here. What part of "career ending neck injury" do you not understand? He's only leaving because SC doctors won't let him play and risk a very serious injury and/or paralysis. To take his injury and use it to waive some banner and tie it into the NCAA investigation is BS and shameful.
USC way is to win by cheating and then not want to face the music. Just look at their FB and MBB program. Period.
You poor UCLA bastards! No life, no job, crappy school. All you can do is try and tear down something that is way bigger than your wildest dreams. Face facts, your football program stinks, pretty basically always has. No BCS appearances, when was the last RoseBowl? when Clinton was President? Bucket, get back behind the grill at McDonalds. Flip flip...
Lane's making room for players knowing he's going to be short scholarships in the coming years. This was a win-win though, since Jarvis will now transfer to a school that will offer him a real education.
I have changed my mind about BruinRob. Rather than an unemployed Bruins fan who spends his time posting on this blog when he should be searching the job listings, I now believe that the "BruinRob" persona is just the invention of a bored Cal State Northridge undergrad, and that his posts are just a form of goofy performance art -- a kind of experiment to see how much he can rile up Trojan fans while spouting utter nonsense.
Art for art's sake, BruinRob! I hope your professor gives you an A!

my reply: your menstrual pains this month are quite intense I see, I guess the hammer coming down tomorrow ain't helping much. Bigger than our wildest dreams?? LMAO we have 105 national championships, how many does FUsCK have? I have a great life!! :) and I have a great job too - I hire trojan alumni to load and unload my trucks...Crappy school?? hardly!...take a look at link below, you will see UCLA ranks 32nd and FUsCK ranks 112th even UC Davis ranks higher than your pathetic loser school...you bunch of UCLA rejects...LMAO

to Cafe 84 Pizza: actually I did not attend UCLA nor CSUN but I'm certainly no fan of USC nor the arrogance of their alumni or specially their stupid fans that show no class in public.
Most are bandwagon fans that have put their Raider jerseys away because they suck, and USC has represented their thug mentality better than any team in the country, with many arrests of their players in the past 10 years...and "SC" means South Central to them, I know because I used to work in South Central and had many coversations with them gangsta wannabes.
Anyway, thanks for showing more class then the rest of you fellow Trojans (notice I spelled it right, just for you). Have a nice day.
BruinRob,
You sir, are pathetic!
"count" smackula,
Not as pathetic as youm would you like to tell me what makes me pathetic? I tell it like it is, just not the way YOU want to hear it, sir.
Thruth hurts, don't it?
BRob, although I hate to talk about rankings, that perverted rankings list you put up also has Georgetown at 129, and Notre Dame at 199. As much as I would like to discredit Notre Dame, both of those are extremely fine academic institutions which are in no way given due credit on that list. Are you seriously going to tell me that UCLA is that much better than Berkeley, the London School of Economics, Dartmouth, Johns Hopkins, etc., as that international list claims?
The standard, agreed-upon ranking in the United States is US News/USA Today, which for 2010 has UCLA tied for 24 with UVA, and SC at 26. Thus, they are effectively even (albeit a slight edge to the bankrupt state-backed institution).
BruinRob, you're not a UCLA alum, and your beef seems to be more with bandwagon USC fans than USC itself. Odd that you're so irked by Raider fans, you're taking it out on USC. Odder still that you're citing university rankings despite not having attended UCLA.
As someone who worked in South LA, what's your take on A Better LA? Others involved in the area (e.g., Blair Taylor of the LA Urban League, Rev. Cecil Murray for First AME, etc.) seem to have pretty favorable views of USC. Your hate seems misguided.
You're a strange cat, BR. Don't let the Raider fans grind you down.
I find it completely ridiculous that someone who didn't even attend UCLA, USC or even CSUN has a comment on university rankings. To answer for the Count, that's what makes Bruin Rob pathetic. Did some guy from SC steal your girlfriend, Rob.... I mean, seriously, there's hundreds of thousands of SC alums and each and every one of us pisses you off to the point you take up a "bruin" moniker and piss and moan on a blog almost around the clock?
Rob, let's talk, just you and me.... where did you go to school? Dominguez? CSULA? Harbor? Surely you have to have some association that was actually a part of your life that you can be proud of, right? Or pro sports... there's the Lakers, Angels, Dodgers, Kings.... we're all Los Angelenos, right. Even if you didn't go to school, you got those guys. Above all else, there's always Team Rob. Go buy a bike or a set of golf clubs and invest in some serious you time... make Team Rob the winner that you so desperately want UCLA to be. Then, and only then, can you possibly make Rob the big winner. Now's who's the big winner? Rob is, that's right.... alright, now go out there and get a life.
LK,
If spelling is any indication, BR didn't attend school of any kind very much. I think we need to cut him some slack, he's only 12.
