Would've watched the video had it not taken so damn long to load. It's 57 seconds, c'mon.

funny. let's wait and see how firm SC is with Madden, a 3*, as the recruiting season wears on. With 15 offers, I'm guessing Madden doesn't make the cut at the end of the day.

This from a UCLA TROLL!!! Thank you! Proud to be one!
Sped, I agree. It will suck for all of the lower tier recruits who really want to go to $c and find out just before signing day that the offer has been rescinded.
These $c fans think that by appealing the sanctions they will have all of their scholarships available this year, but signing day is 10 months away and the denial of the appeal will be back by then.
I actually feel pretty bad for the kids who are going to be left out.
The thing that amazes me about this whole situation is the arrogance of Kiffin and Garrett. Kiffin basically said that $c has a history of cheating and always bounces back! WTF!? And Garrett telling the boosters that the NCAA is envious of $c, what a joke!!! The NCAA probably loves $c because they make them so much money and they most likely wanted to go easy on $c but couldn't look like they were "playing favorites".
I think the players who did not go to $c for "extra benefits" (if anyone believes it was just Bush and Mayo you are dreaming) but to truly play for their dream school and get a degree from a strong institution, and the fans who are not ex Raider fans and bandwagon jumpers, are the ones who lose the most with these sanctions.
Us Bruin fans remember DeShaun Fosters' Senior when he was one of the leading candidates to win the Heisman, he was found to be driving an SUV from a booster and UCLA suspended him from the team for the final games of the season, thus ending his Heisman run and taking their best player off of the field. That is what legit schools do when they find out about improprieties, they handle the problem immediately and report the problem to the NCAA themselves.
The "see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil" defense doesn't work guys. It was well known what was going on and was swept under the rug.
I don't think the sanctions will really affect $c anyway, so why don't they just take the punishment like adults and move on.

USC held Joe McKnight out of the Emerald Bowl after it learned about the Range Rover. According to your logic, that makes USC a legit school.
Moreover, the NCAA report indicated that McNair only became aware of Lloyd Lake after the Texas loss. By then, Reggie was all but gone, having decided to turn pro a few weeks later. McNair screwed up by not immediately contacting the compliance department, and then lying to the NCAA during the investigation. The NCAA did not find that USC knew about the relationship with Lloyd Lake while Reggie had games remaining on the schedule. Rather, the NCAA found that USC should have known about Bush's extra benefits, had USC employed more compliance staff and asked more questions concerning Reggie's Impala.
