Alexis Moore of Long Beach Poly, who committed to USC, was not heavily recruited. A lot of schools were taking a wait-and-see attitude. But USC coach Kevin O'Neill's never been influenced by others when it comes to recruiting and decided to offer him after watching him at two camps at USC.
Hopefully this kid will blossom like a Klay Thompson (with a lot of schools wishing they'd offered earlier).
Sounds like KO goes after players he likes, regardless of what rankings say. We'll see how well that approach works in the next couple of years.
Hey, he was good enough for powers basketball like UC Davis and Portland to offer so why no USC?
