The NCAA will hold a press conference at 12 p.m. (PDT) featuring Paul Dee, the chairman of the committee on infractions, to discuss the findings against USC.

I really hope the NCAA makes available to the public all their findings, including the testimony from Caroll and others. I am really curious to find out exactly what transpired. It was always my understanding Lamar Griffen hatched this scheme, dragging Reggie into his plans. How much did USC know? I hope we find out. If there was indeed a cover up, the sanctions are probably just. If the NCAA is just speculating that SC may have known, then that is a different story. As for the USC detractors, it is foolish to think this could not happen to your program. How much control or power does a university have to reign in a loose cannon parent or relative? It is really a sad day for all of college football. Never the less, I will continue to ardently support my alma mater, because after all, that is what Trojans do. Fight On!

Thanks Scott for locking out of the comments section some of main bruin flamers. It may last only a day or two, or until they can manipulate IP addresses, but it is appreciated. Never clever commentators to begin with, I was amazed how juvenile one can become anonymously behind a keyboard.

sdog........well said. With 2 years, I've got to believe they have a smoking gun. If not, then I'm pissed. Hell, I'm still pissed at Bush and his parents.

What if we all held a press conference at that Spice Girls' Aloud Bar in Sunset Beach? Is it open?

Scott Wolf is the best sports writer in America...too bad the team he covers is the worst at cheating in America.
