The USC track team picked up a big signing with 400-meter runner Josh Mance of Don Lugo High School in Chino. Mance had the nation's best prep time (45.9 seconds) in the 400 this year.

Nice!! congratulation to the USC Trojans, nice signing. Now THIS is worth being called jealous, and I am, dammit! I wish he would have signed with the Bruins.
Definitely glad he did not sign with those losers in Westwood. The Trojan men's team needs help in other areas for next season so using a full scholarship (assuming) on another 400M standout not really ideal with the limited # of scholies available for track and field. Having Hughes and Nellum for two more years along with Wyatt for three makes the 1600M relay well taken care of for the near future. Would trade him to ucla if that was allowed for one of their very good dual event throwers in the shot/discus that they used to have a couple of years back.
To trjsteve5, you are a classic example of a pompous arrogant fan, and the reason why the troGans are hated across the country. So arrogant, you can't take a compliment from a Bruin without spewing your unwarranted hate...I think it's hilarious though, it keeps my fire on. Enjoy those SANCTIONS loser!!
