If the NCAA committee on infractions recommends it, any USC football with two years of eligibility or less could transfer without sitting out a year because of the two-year bowl ban.
I think USC will face more potential headaches with freshmen than veterans who are already comfortable at USC and really only lose a bowl game at the end of the season. Why bother transferring if you are already a starter and start over at another school?

  1. Mr. Wolf (or any person with this knowledge), from my understanding USC is planning to appeal the decision and how is this process handle? Through a mediator, a judge, or other NCAA Members and finally what is the time line? Thank you in advance.

  2. I would also like to know this. The punishment seems very disproportionate to the violation. I’ll wait to see what evidence the NCAA laid out, but I’ve heard nothing that would justify a two year bowl ban. An appeal/lawsuit seems imminent.

  3. Has Henderson signed anything that would bind him to USC yet? Did he sign his LOI?

  4. What about the players who have 2 years left, but aren’t starters? Think maybe Mustain would like to play some football? Fluornoy? SUC’s depth over the lest several years have been as much a key as anything to the success.
