When do we find out who was behind the report? This had to be one of the dumbest stories when it came out. Washington was over their limit on recruits and signed 3 RBs, Oregon signed Seastrunk and has a freshman RB and signed another high end RB. How were the SC people that stupid?

bRuin fans are predictable in their trite and uncreative response to this news.

Still, it does make one wonder how it got this far if there was nothing to it. Did Baxter lie, or did the program not have sufficient proof of wrong-doing - making an apology the better option? The sooner Mike Garrett is outta here, the better.

As I have asked before, where are the adults in the SC AD? At some point, even the most myopic, die hard SC person must be embarrassed by all of this.

Okay, more bad press for USC. The bully on the block is officially handcuffed:

* Recruits getting out of LOIs

* Players can transfer at will

* Reduced scholarships

* No bowls to play for

* Daily shame in the newspapers

* Players and fan base demoralized

* The head coach the most hated person since Adolf Hitler

Sounds to me like UCLA has no excuse not to beat USC next year. Zero. Pressure is on Neuheisel & Co.

Here is the NCAA rule that Baxter broke in case folks are wondering:

NCAA Bylaw 10.1, “Knowingly furnishing the NCAA or the individual’s institution false or misleading information concerning the individual’s involvement in or knowledge of matters relevant to a possible violation of an NCAA regulation.”

So, the question is, SC now knows they have yet another case of rule breaking going on, are they going to punish the rulebreaker, or sweep it under the rug like they did during PCs term?

So has SC changed and will it now punish NCAA rule brekers, or is it the same old culture of ignoring and zero accountability?

NostraSamGilbertus, I keep trying to tell you guys, I am not the same person as Bruin Rob or UCLA Rob.

But I support all efforts by Robs everywhere to tell the truth about USC's dirty program, including Dylan Baxter's bogus lies -- which were all Lane Keffin's idea, I'd bet!

thank you rev. dupree. amen. i've been living my life of wickedness and delusion supporting the mighty trojans. the football team has helped me and countless other usc grads compensate for our impotence. thanks to you, now i see it was all a sham. i will no longer stray from the lord and live an honorable life. god bless you and god bless america.
