Some Questions

| | Comments (9) |

The NCAA sanctions are somewhat vague in certain areas, such as the way it could not address the 13th game issue immediately and then incorrectly said the Hawaii game was at stake, when any game could be dropped.
But here's another couple questions: Will the NCAA still list Texas' 2006 Rose Bowl victory as a victory over an undefeated, untied team? Or, that game as a No. 1 v. No.2 match-up? (Probably yes, on that last question, but who knows?)

USC was still unbeaten and untied, even with the sanctions. All of the victories were vacated, not forfeited. They may have been 0-0-0 heading into the Rose Bowl/NCG, but technically, they were still undefeated and untied, so no change necessary by the NCAA.

I don't think the NCAA sanctions said anything about retroactively stripping any ranking so I'll agree that they can still say No.1 vs No.2.

SC didn't lose any games, so why would it change anything. It was a winless team, but also still undefeated...until they got whipped by UT.

Sped apparently saw a different game than the game I attended. USC was not "whipped". I do remember a 66-19 game a few weeks earlier, though. That would be a whipping.

Look at the baby blue fans talking smack. That is so cute. If you call losing by less than one TD getting whipped, then what do you call the Ucla multiple blowout loses? Also, don't you feel a little worried that your team is headed to Texas in a few month with about a nill chance to even make the game respectable? Nah, I didn't think so. Suck On baby blue!

nOMG!! Southern Cal still flailing around, trying to find some loophole in the sactions. yeah, right wolf, such mysterious questions! i guess the NCAA will have to recind the sanctions since they can't answer all of your kooky questions.

how pathetic. these are not questions. how will the NCAA list Texas' win? as a win. they don't need to categorize the loser.

Southern Cal needs to focus on the upcoming season, not dwell on the past! recruits are leaving on a daily basis and recruits are bailing left and right including the #1 recruit in the country! it all going to heck!!!
