Sorry BYU
BYU athletic director Tom Holmoe on why his school was not invited to join the Pac-10.
Holmoe told the Salt Lake City Tribune that selecting Utah and Colorado ``was not an athletic decision....not about what you do on the field.''

This reminds me of why American auto manufacturers didn't sell many cars abroad in the early years...they refused to put the steering wheel on the right hand side of the dash board.
Expecting 10+ other schools to fit your ways about not competing on a Sunday and then being snotty about it. Lame.
Hey BYU...yeah you...I like my steering wheel on the left hand side.
roger that, Rodney.
BYU, the phoniest of the phonies. great job, Pac10, the Utes, or the Infidels from the North, as BYU calls them, are definitely a better choice for us.
ooops i forgot: ooooooooOOOOOOooooooo!!
glad to see religious bigotry is alive and well... and I thought that diversity was the over riding goal of academic institutions.... I guess it's just the right sort of diversity...
Of course it was not an athletic decision. It was a decision based on an institution that practices religious discrimination. 12 Pac doesn't need any of that.
How the heck did one of the worst coaches in Cal football history end up as an AD!?
Being against gay marriage didn't help their cause, especially since they ( the LDS church ) spent a lot of cash and man hours in California trying to stop it.
Anyone who's seen the Mormon-centric South Park episode knows what's coming...
"Dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb..."
