Why do you think sc didn't manage to get josh shirley? We are rather thin at linebacker aren't we?

What do you think about making an app for this blog? It takes really long for the whole web page to load on a smartphone. So creating something quick and easy for readers to access will definitely help out alot. Android and iPhone apps? If not apps, then making the blog's web page available in mobile view so it's easier to view and loads faster on smartphones?

p.s. both OS platforms and not just iPhone, because Android is just as big on the market as is the iPhone.

Also Android just released a program for developers so it would be easier and more convenient for them to create apps than having to learn so many codes to create the app. The program is called "App Inventor for Android". So basically the program builds the app for you and you just design how you want it; super easy! Hopefully you and the IT Department look into this.

Scott, It seems that those closest to the program (excluding Petey, Garrett but can we really trust or believe anything they say) are not surprised one bit by the cheating or mismanagement of the program while the lower you go down the chain i.e. alumni, fans are taken aback and in disbelief of the accusations and sanctions. Why is that?

Not sure if you are going to answer the questions from the July 19 Forum. (its been a busy week). Here is my question submitted then:

Missy Conboy the Notre Dame asst. atheletic director, signed off on the NCAA infractions committee report which clearly and self-righteously took strong exception over an incident where Reggie Bush went to a club/restaurant with a recruit where alchohol was served. (not that they actually had any alcohol, it was merely served there). This wasn't a buried footnote, it was blared on page 2 and sanctimoniously pointed to as a key example of where USC "fostered an atmosphere in which student-athletes could feel entitled to special treatment and which almost certainly contributed to the difficulties of compliance staff in achieving a rules-compliant program." The committee's page 2 missive served as a backdrop for the sanctions report.
Given that, and as Notre Dames' compliance director, won't Missy either have to suspend for the entire season the 11 ND players (8 football) recently arrested for underage drinking near campus, or publicly admit her committee's report was a blatant hit job against USC? Also, what is Missy's excuse for not knowing about the rampant and well-known boozing problem on the ND Football team? Is South Bend too big of a place, unlike Los Angeles?

What's Glenn Stanley's status for this season? Is he still expected to enroll or will CLK release him from his LOI eventually?

Just so you know, without Pete Carroll, there are no sanctions, but there was also no DYNASTY to begin with.

Jerry Buss wrote a letter to the LA Times that was very positive on Mike Garrett and USC Athletics. Do you think Mr. Buss, a World Championship team owner, is stupid? Can't wait for this answer.

Just about everyone is blaming the other guy on the reasons Universities get sanctioned on agent-marketer actions with players. Only players haven't blamed anyone yet (they probably would say it is the University's fault for putting me in the position to take a hand out). Unless a player is an absolute idiot, they know they are breaking NCAA rules when taking gifts. Why hasn't a University taken a player, who has been caught and gets the team sanctioned, to court and sue for damages?

Aside from the inner-circel details he must have, care to discuss why your info is different.

What do you think of KIffin's stealing Pola from Tennessee without talking to Jeff Fisher;did Pola discuss the situation with Fisher or does he fit in the Kiffin lack of professionalism category?

Mr. Wolf, in your opinion will the hiring of Pat Haden and his agenda to upgrade the compliance office reduce the existing NCAA sanctions? In addition do you think the NCAA's investigation of UNC and a number of SEC teams will have any impact on USC's appeal process considering that some of the players received additional benefits ala Bush but at a significant lower amount. Thank you in advance.

Would you agree that the Bush case is somewhat of an outlier in that most real agents/representatives have too much to lose so they would never - a) get into a multi-year under the table relationship with a kid, and b) would never go public with the relationship. What's alleged to have occurred in the SEC schools seems to be more typical of agents giving illegal extra benefits and enticements to kids. And because of the timing of these - after the season - it doesn't appear that the NCAA will be able to hit the schools as hard as they hit SC.

If the P10 were to finish with a 3-way tie for 1st & SC were 1 of the 3, would the P10's regular competitive multi-team tiebreaker apply, or would SC be eliminated so that the head-to-head tiebreaker applies?
