Barkley On Corp
Quarteback Matt Barkley was asked about Richmond naming Aaron Corp the starting quarterback.
``I'm happy for him. He's a gamer,'' Barkley said. ``We'll be watching him (against Virginia on film).''
USC plays Virginia the week after Richmond.

Gamer??? Hahahaha. Yeah, he was "game" when we needed our backup QB against Washington last year.
I too am happy for Corp.
I, along with quite a few other Trojans, was excited about the prospects of having a running quarterback at SC.
The poor kid was not given a fair chance, and look how
everybody piled on him after his Washington performance.
For the most part sports fans are worthless, from my point of view, although place them in another context and they probably are fine.
This thinking of winning, you are a god, whereas losing, you are pond scum, is 6th-century primitive.
(Note: actually we have progessed somewhat from that period, because in those days if you lost a lancing duel they'd hang you-- if you were still alive from the contest)
Imagine the conversation if Corp throws for 300 yards and 4TD's against Virginia with Richmond and Barkley struggles......
