Clearinghouse Troubles
Freshman quarterback Jesse Scroggins remains out of school because he is not academically cleared by the NCAA. Scroggins took a math course through independent study and the NCAA is still waiting for the transcript. But even with it, there might be a question by the NCAA whether he meets all the requirements.

scinsc5, good question re: McKnight, since McKnight was known most of all for his sure, steady hands. Some suspected glue on his gloves, but USC scientists confirmed that it was pure talent and nerves of steel.

Less than 10% of Americans read books, so how smart is that?
Do you realize that if you read a book for only 30-minutes a day, 3% of your waking hours, that even if you are slow at say 40-pages per minute, you would be able to knock off a 500-page book every month.
Then you might be in a less hypocritical position, although not charitable,' to hurl 'dumb and dumber' at unfortunates.

I hate to point this out, LJ, but if you read a book at a "slow" 40-pages per minute (your words and numbers) for 30 minutes, you would knock off a 1,200 page book every half hour.
