Game Moves

First-team reps changed today in practice which are strong hints toward the starting lineup for the Hawaii game.
Marc Tyler got the majority of snaps with the first-team offense at tailback, Devon Kennard got the majority of first-team reps at linebacker and Nickell Robey got the majority at cornerback. Robert Woods continued to be the first-team wide receiver.

what about this LB recruit curtis grant? i hear he is looking at usc, but scout.com doesn't show any interest? anybody know?

i hear jason gibson likes ucla more than usc. what's the deal there?

scinsc5, usc is going to suck... kids dont want to play 2 hand touch for a stick-in-the-mud coach like kiff. atleast cheat carroll had some charisma and live tackling.

the rise of devon kennard and nickell robey are the cherry on top of the defense.

both the offense and defense are awesome and young. great recruiting class incoming. i don't see how it ever slows down for the trojans. it's a miracle.

i was concerned about not seeing robert woods in the stat sheet for the last scrimmage. but he's still the playing first stringer as of yesterday. cherry on top of the offense. so many weapons. woods could take a wide receiver screen to the house at any time. he's like the mamba, faster than a ucla nerd going through a scan-tron test sheet.

it's a new day with four positions taken by players with from less to almost no experience - including two true frosh. i have to say coming into camp that robey is the biggest surprise. can't recall a true frosh ever winning a CB position.

Regarding Gallippo's comments about bad attitudes last year dragging down the team that have departed in 2010...looks like USC not only got rid of some Bad Attitudes but 1 slow Linebacker as well. Too bad some people's mouth run faster than their feet.

Gallippo may be a little slower than our other linebackers, but he's smart and tackles pretty good. we'll never forget that ohio state interception. chris will have a wonderful opportunity here to show us his good attitude
