it's good that clown is gone. the jon gold site had some glowing comments recently re: some dude that transferred out from ucla. typical bruin idiocy. except for shoemate, all transfers have been nothing but good for usc. actually, the trojans might be better off without shoemate too. i don't consider henderson and stanley transfers, we'll miss their talent, but not that big of a loss considering their issues.

The NCAA could not grant the request. The juniors and seniors were allowed by the NCAA to leave without sitting out a year, ostensibly because they could not play in another bowl game. Kaveinga left before the sanctions were imposed, and thus did not leave to play in a bowl game. The NCAA did not want to undercut its own ruling. If Corp and Kaveinga had more patience, they would be playing this year at a D-I school. Instead, Corp is playing for a D-II school, and Kaveinga must sit out a year. They made their respective choice, and now they have to live with it.

Correction, Corp is trying to play for a D-II school (actually I-AA er, FCS school) - he's battling for that starting nod.

And I wonder if Kaveinga is even going to play in the MWC. BYU might be a football independent by then.

The Bruins continue to attempt to deflate the Trojan spirit. Most of us are Trojans for life ! I go to some bruin games with some friends. My intention is to appreciate the comedic value of bruin football. I am rarely disappointed. The Alumni presence at these games is a joke. We see Marcus, Pat, Lendale, Anthony ( Davis and Munoz ), Charlie, Mike , Rodney, Dennis, John ( Robinson ), J.K., and many others, who regularly attend our home games. We are Trojans for life !! We never see Troy Aikman, Ken Norton, Deshaun Foster, or Tommy Maddux at these games. The bruins live for one thing...beat SC..We live for multiple Rose Bowl and National Title victories. Now I see that we are the # 23 ranked educational institution in the USA. ( ucla is # 25 according to the yearly, and well respected, US News and World Report. I would say that the bruins have taken a mighty fall, but they have never, and never will outclass The University. We are SC !! Fight On !! These little weaklings such as Charlie Bucket, and Dynasty, are little punks . I don't bother responding to any of the bruin blogs. They come here because they know their program is poor at best, and it is much more fun to hate, than appreciate.

i concede Southern Cal had a great run in football that unfortunately, due to copious cheating, resulted in exactly zero BCS Champeenships! (OOOPS!! i did it again!)

All those clowns you mentioned were there during the cheating years, in fact I remember all those former players laughing up a storm during the Rose Bowl game in 2006 in the fourth quarter high-fiving and all because they thought they were about to win the national title game - before Vince Young ran around and over your cheating condoms.

I'd like to see how many of those clowns will be at the games this year, my guess is ZERO.

Cheat On - your problem is that your school has NOT produced any football players that want to come back to your games and aren't newsworthy enough to be put on a TV camera. You have produced zilch as your record the last 10 years reveals. No heritage, no legacy, no nothing...you must be proud. Now you are sucking hind tit in US News World Report ranking. ROTFLMAO loser!
