Nellum Surgery
USC 400-meter runner Bryshon Nellum underwent surgery to remove shotgun pellets in his leg that remained from when he was shot outside a night club in Oct., 2008. One of the fragments was located directly on a nerve in his leg.
Nellum is expected to be sidelined about three months but should recover in time for the track season.
