New Atmosphere

There were probably less than 50 people at today's first practice and many of them were media. The size of the crowd will increase when family members start showing up but it's still going to be far less than in the past as the general public is no longer allowed inside Howard Jones Field.
Most players said they did not notice a difference. Quarterback Matt Barkley said he used to notice all the people when he watched practice films.
``I was watching tape from last summer and it was outrageous,'' Barkley said.

Wait, you mean Mr. Deep Pockets Nobs wasn't there but Wolf was able to gain access? The flies directly in the face of everything I've come to learn on this board.

Douche.

I don't attend with the masses. I'd be INSIDE the ropes. Practice is for the rookies.

Yes, it was outrageous. Outrageously awesome.

Great way to get fans to visit campus. I'm sure USC parking and hospitality services, as well as local businesses, were quite happy with the prior years' outrageousness.

Ah well. Back to business.
