Wow Scott, as I recall it was 1 and 55, but 55 for defense only. 1 was for offense only. Either 55 or 43 does not matter, it was for the defensive side of the ball that the player had to earn the right to wear it. Also, how could you deny the son of a coach (that is even coaching the position that the son is playing) the father's old number? If Pola wants his son to wear his old number decision over!

usc schollie's the last 4 yrs: 20 (2010), 18 (2009), 19 (2008), 18 (2007). usc will emerge stronger than ever with plenty of early enrollees for 2011 to make up for limits of 15 (or 20, i can't tell what is the truth) per sanctions. 30 yr dynasty with Lane and friends.
