No Reps

The "one-game" suspension of Baxter turns out to be somewhat of a misnomer. I wish he had been suspended for the second game instead of the first, with merely 7-days of punishment, because he is losing much more practice time than that leading up to the season-opener.

P.S. Thought there'd be varied commentary on the "free speech" speech. It was merely a shot over the bow warning that you can be found out, and that your words could cost you.

And if you think I am thin-skinned, please, although I must say that some folks around here have no skin at all

I have heard and seen it all. For years I have belittled bruins over at ucla's Pauley Pavilion by "leading" them in cheers of "Bruins suck, Bruins suck." --- I once was on the receiving end of about 20 middle-fingers; bruins have thrown punches at me in that arena.

Before midseason, Baxter will be taking the vast majority of the 1st team snaps providing that he's learned a valuable (don't be a knucklehead) lesson and decided to grow up.

Say what you will about Wolf, he is a First Amendment guy. And, therefore, this blog at times delivers social commentary, coupled of course with a heavy strain of malice, vulgarity and deceitfulness. Some of it is amusing; much of it is boring; but all of it is water off a duck's back.

If you only know the profound in life, and not the profane, you know but half of life.

Frankly, I come to this blog the for trash-talk and the shenanigans. I even like some of the trolls.

It's been some time since Wolf has posted info that is not also available on Lev's blog (and the folks at the OCR actually seem to use a spell-check and read their own writing before they post it) or one of the many other websites covering USC and college football. Even if Scott is LEARNING scoops before others, he is not necessarily quick to post. Spedjones has broken as many scoops on this blog as Wolf has, lately. For me, the trash-talking and humor is what makes this blog entertaining.

I would never reveal my real name on this blog (I don't need anyone making mischief at my workplace), but I will tell you that I am also an attorney, and as far as I'm concerned, all this lawsuit talk is utter nonsense. Nobody on here is being defamed for the fundamental reason that NOT ONE OF US IS USING HIS FULL NAME, so nobody's real-life reputation is being harmed.

So I say bring on the trash-talk. Let's keep it dirty, with gusto.

first, let me compliment wolf an a SWEEEEEEEEET scooop!!

now, several comments: 1) good to see a certain Paralega (i am not naming any spedific individual!!!!) has calmed down following a psychotic break that caused him much humiliation! it was gratifying to see that in addition to Bruins, even SOuthern Cal folk jumped all over his shocking emotional dislay and attempt to silence free speech!

2) i am actually traveling on business right now, but i can hardly wait to see what my trOJie friends back home think of this item! they candidly tell me they find several trOJies on this blog to be very lame and this will really cement that notion!

3) finally, i guess i really should watch my expertly delivered, but gentle barbs! they brought a grizzled, trial hardened legal eagle to his knees in despair, and that is certainly not what i intended! i'm just too dang good! as mentioned before, i always take care to not use crass or obscene language in these forums, and certainly i never mean to harm, just banter. believe it or not, i really am sorry if my razor hit and charm hit the mark with too much velocity on occasion. but of course i can't change!! when you're this good you just keep on scooopin'!! er i mean posting!

There is much speculation that Ghost Bucket is actually Scott Wolf, and for a few days it was thought that he could even be Mike Garret. I actually believe that he is Petros and he's trying to ruin the comments on this blog and embarrass Wolf. Just read these comments in Petros' voice and it seems to fit way too perfectly.

Bucket = Petros. Thought that for a while now. Good call.

The characters that are portrayed as UCLA Trolls are the work of a couple insiders --including Wolf.

I may be one of them myself.

After all the nastiness that has been swirling on here for the past few months, I'm surprised it was Lawyer John's threat to start suing people that (seemingly) finally led to deletions of posts -- and even his threat seems to have been deleted from that thread.

If ThaiMex is banned from posting, there's some irony there, after all the racist stuff that got thrown at him for putting "Mex" into his handle.

@Free Thinker, it seems like Bucket is also Yoda and Count Smackula. Same guy with different names, but a genuine troll, I think. But you are the one posting as UCLA Dynasty? That one is clearly a fake troll.

I am loving all the speculation as to The Count's identity as well as ChuckyBucky, Ghost of Bucket, ChuckerBucker, ChuckBuck, Yo-Duh, even Wolf!

But now that I think of it, there may actually be something to the theory...all are known for their stellar witticisms and charming personality, none use profanity or make any homophobic or racial slurs, and all seem to possess a superior intellect and an especially engaging joie de vie!

Insofar as being “insiders” well, I certainly have no comment on that... ;) I mean, aren't we all "insiders" in one way or another?

It is obvious that that there are ppl who own multiple monikers (such as ucla dynasty and westwood rob) and others that are truly trolls (spedjones), but i must confess that some acts are pretty funny. I don't appreciate racist remarks or attacks on individuals, but the trash talking is one of the main reasons i come to this blog.

Also, i may not be a lawyer (im an engineer) but cyber bullying is real so lets not let that ruin this blog.

I'm alive and doing well...thank you for your concern. I have to admit I do get SICK TO THE STOMACH whenever I see another self righteous, egotistical, boring, "yet informative" post from the witty, Never ending bag of hot air.
the fact some people don't recognize this site for what it is...some truth, few facts, but mostly SATIRE, is astounding. Come to think of it..I suppose I've been missing the crux of it all along. Maybe I do work for knobs. Maybe the Trogans will really win 50 games in a row. Maybe there is such a thing as a Jackalope? maybe science V is really a deep thinking Philosopher and maybe , one day lawclerk will post a truly interesting and informative piece of information, without going thru all the POSING...without ever stepping up ONTO HIS SOAPBOX.
