you have to keep in mind that UCLA Bruin "football" fans are not use to aggressive physical contact on the football field. You have to understand that at UCLA they haven't had anyone with a ball sack full of balls playing football in more years than anyone can recall, so, when they read about young men being aggressive while playing football they are confused and lost. They just cannot for the life of them understand how Havili could possible hit anoher player out of "rage" or in a fit of "anger" while engaged in the sport of football. After all at UCLA the only "rage" and "anger" a football player is expected to demonstrate is on campus and against unsuspecting female co-ed's minding their own business and while they are carrying a purse....

Nope, I can proudly say, UCLA don't play that! That's just lame you'd use that. All 3 got the boot. Programs can't control what every player does, but they certainly can control how they respond.

The purse thieves didn't exactly get the boot. The door was left open, all they had to do is wait around a few months and they could quietly be brought back in.

The program wanted to teach them a lesson but the players called Neuheisel's bluff and walked away.
