Skill Spots
If USC played a game today, here is who I would start at the skill positions:
WR: Ronald Johnson
QB: Matt Barkley
FB: Stanley Havili
TB: Allen Bradford
WR: Robert Woods
TE: Jordan Cameron
This takes into consideration the suspension of Dillon Baxter. What's tougher is who is the No. 3 WR? Markeith Ambles, David Ausberry or Brice Butler?

I assume Baxter would be starting phone dope, or would they use him more at the dope smoking position? Either way, I think he's solidified his spot on the dope line.
FROM THE DESK OF RALPH VON ALBERTSON, ESQ.:
From time to time, I am compelled to add my opinion to the gibbering and braying on this blog, and this is one such time. I must demand that the Bruins posting on this blog immediately cease their tiresome insults about young Baxter and his alleged fondness for what we at Stanford (rather inexpicably) referred to as the "Green Spider".
If Baxter broke a law, it is a most foolish and unjust law, and I will be voting to legalize the old Green Spider this November. I believe a gentleman should have the right to enjoy himself in any manner in which he sees fit, so long as he does not harm my property.
And speaking of enjoyment, I have spoken with certain members of the Armstrong Club about possibly bankrolling a ballot initiative next year to legalize prostitution.
But, my Bruin friends, please do not think that I have sympathy only for Baxter and none for you. Indeed, I also believe that our California law should be rewritten to allow you gay fellows the right to marry.
Best regards,
Ralph Von Albertson, Esq., Stanford '95, '99

RVA, Esq, Best of luck getting prostitution legalized. I would be most happy to sign your petition and assist with your campagin. It is a most unjust law and would finally give your coeds a chance to practice their trade legally.
Brice Butler starts over any freshmen this year. Prater will get reps before woods at 3rd WR. Woods will get reps at Flanker.
D-Bax will go big against Virginia.
Only thing Trojans will be smoking out of bowls this year will be Bruins come December!!
Kiffin likes to have at least one big receiver in the mix, either to create a mismatch or to help block. The big WRs are Cameron (77 in/235 lbs), Ausberry (76/235), Prater (77/215), Butler (76/195) & Ambles (74/215). I think Kiffin will start one of those guys at SE. Woods (73/185) will surely play but he will line up at FL or in the slot to try to avoid getting jammed up. The guys who need to worry about Woods are RoJo (72/185), Carswell (73/190) & Flournoy (72/185). But I'm sure RoJo will remind us all why we were so excited about him following his breakout performance against Penn State, so we'll probably see Woods in the slot or at FL with RoJo in the slot. Cameron appears to be a TE now, but what about Ausberry? I read an interview a while back where Havili said that he and Ausberry were going to be featured out of the FB & H-back/F-back positions. If true that leaves Prater, Butler and Ambles at SE. I'll bet Butler will start at Hawaii, but he's going to have to play like a big receiver as Kiffin told him or one of the young guys will take his spot.
